The mornings are cooler and a lot of Aussie kids grow up with a hot chocolate milk to warm their tummies. I give this one the real 5 star health rating, and it only has three ingredients! It’s just as quick to make as the chocolate milk mix in a tin, (honestly I’m not just saying that!!) It’s too easy and too yummy and a healthy way to enjoy this chocolatey treat.This recipe makes 4 cups, so please feel free to divide the quantity if you are only making one or two – it is still just as quick to make.
Another hot or should I say cool, tip is to not heat these ingredients at all in the Summer. Just combine them in a glass bottle and allow them to sit in the fridge overnight and the flavours will naturally infuse. This is a great way to enjoy it as an iced drink.
This recipe is free from gluten, grains, dairy and refined sugar, and suitable for paleo, GAPS or vegan protocols.

Add all the ingredients to a pot on the stovetop over low to medium heat.
Gently whisk and combine until heated. Don’t boil as you don’t to split the milk, you will see a nice steam coming from the pan but it won’t be bubbling or boiling.
